Want to
Live Out Your Sexual Fantasies?
We all have erotic
fantasies that we run through in our minds when we're feeling
sexy. There are some we'll share with our
spouse/partner/lover and some we'll always keep to ourselves.
The question often arises as to which of our fantasies would
be great to live out. Once you decide that, what's the
best way to get our partner to join in with us?
Firstly, discuss ideas
outside the bedroom, not while you are in bed. Make the
environment non sexually threatening. Give the idea a
chance to grow and develop outside the sex setting. Never put
pressure on your lover or partner to do something that he or
she may be uncomfortable doing. Watch your lovers non verbal
body language to see if he or she is open to the idea.
Follow the "three strikes you're out rule." If you bring up
the suggestion three times and you don't get a positive
reaction from your partner, let it go. To pursue it when your
lover or partner is unreceptive to the idea, can risk damaging
your relationship as he or she may feel that you are
pressuring them to do something they may not be able to
verbalize that they really do not want to do.
According to a recent poll of 2446 people, the most popular
sexual fantasies are: Somebody already known to the person;
with 25% women and 29% of men fantasizing about a friend.
Surprisingly the most popular fantasy for women is their own
partner while 17% of men opt for sameness. 13% of women and
12.7% of men fantasize about a celebrity or well known public
figure, co-workers follow with 11% of men and 5% of women
fantasizing about having sex with a workmate. Not
surprisingly, prostitutes and strippers or porn stars rate 7%
with men, but only 4% with women.
Strangers in uniform don't
rate as highly with women as previously, with only 4% of woman
and 3% of men being turned on by symbolisms of power and
control. 3% of men and 1% of women have no sexual fantasies,
with 2% of men and women fantasizing about masturbating alone.
2% of women and 5% of men, fantasize about bonking a friend's
mate, and the least desirable fantasy is with an object or
animal, with 1.6% of women and 0.8% of men being keen on the
idea.
A great many people
fantasize about having sex with a person of the same sex.
This is not because they consider themselves to be homosexual,
but purely curiosity. These same people also fantasize
about group sex with 1,2, 3 or more additional partners.
So, if you're looking to spice up your sex life with your
current sex partner, give those fantasies a chance and see if
acting them out is as stimulating as you think it will be.
Until next time, have fun!
