Six Sex Scenes That Get Me Soaking Wet

Honestly, I’m not the normal chick. I don’t get off on watching sappy, romantic, caring sex. I like to watch what I like to experience – steamy, hot, passionate, animalistic sex without the attachments. Sex for the pleasure, not for the emotional reasons, or pain it can sometimes cause.

Which brings me to my list. While certainly not a traditional list, the ones I chose do it for me. You may have seen them, and if not, I’ll do my best to explain why they "move" me. So without further ado, here they are. The first two are the ones that have separated themselves from the rest.

The Two Best…

Mulholland Drive – The Lesbian Scene

No, Bag (the E-Crap head guy) did not pay me off, or make me choose this one. He insists it is the greatest film of all time, and still thinks it was his suggestion that made me grab a male friend to go see it when it was in the theater. The truth is that male friend is a David Lynch fan, and he grabbed me to go see it.

The scene is between the two female leads (Betty and Rita – played by Naomi Watts and Laura Elena Harring). Some of the reasons to be turned on by this scene are obvious. Both women are gorgeous with great bodies, one is blonde and the other dark haired, and the scene starts innocently and builds. For me, this scene was so hot that it affirmed my desire to be with another woman (a feat I have started several times since without closing the book), hence being rated at the top of the list. I always harbored some experimental feelings prior, but after seeing this scene (while stirring every which way my body would allow within the tight confines of a theater seat), it was no longer in doubt.

Unfaithful – Diane Lane and Oliver Martinez

The first of two scenes I include where the featured actress was either nominated for, or won an Academy Award for Best Actress! Not only does sex sell, it seems it gets recognized as art as well.

The chosen scene is the first love scene between Lane and Martinez. Lane’s extra-marital affair was being teased with for some time, and the build up was intense. When it finally happened, it was quite steamy. For me, part of it was Oliver Martinez, who is simply gorgeous, and someone I would spread for in real life or a dream. For the guys, Diane Lane is one of the hotter "older" leading ladies of film. She comes across as very sexy. The scene is hot, with some gentle hair caressing leading to some animalistic groping and raw sex.

Many people feel the scene that follows, where Diane Lane is riding back home on the subway after being unfaithful, was the scene that earned her the Oscar nomination. As she sat alone on the train, she seemed to experience every emotion – from the utter pleasure and joy of the sexual tryst, to the true disdain, shame, and guilt for cheating.

Honorable Mentions…

Basic Instinct – Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas

A much younger Sharon Stone, and a much better looking and fit Michael Douglas. Actually, after sex, Michael Douglas walks to the bathroom naked (from the back) and looks quite fine. Part of the scene’s lure is the danger it presents, with film watchers thinking a murder during the sex might take place. Douglas’ facial expressions as he is being tied up, and the subsequent groans of horror, help to clarify his fear. But as he is getting f*cked (which he later terms "the f*ck of the century), the fear turns to amazing pleasure, and Stone does a few mind-bending tricks. Actually, I was so impressed by the scene that I have since incorporated several of the moves into my personal sexual repertoire, including bending my body as far back as I can – trying to lay flat back, while keeping the man inside. It has gotten me a few verbal awards, but alas, no Oscar nominations as of yet!

Monsters Ball – The Couch Scene

Should it be called the "trailer trash slut" scene? Or the "I’m a slut, not give me an Oscar" scene? Make no mistake about it, Halle Berry won Best Actress for this role, and the most memorable scene in the film was this one – an X-rated one. Truthfully, I saw the film on DVD, not in the theater, so I’m not sure if there was a different scene shown to the paying public. It probably overstepped the "R" rating boundaries. It was that trashy and pornographic. But that was what I liked about it. It was all about pleasure, even if she was drunk when she softly moaned "make me feel good" to a less than sexy Billy Bob Thornton. And as I have said many times, I value sex more for the pleasure it brings me than the emotional aspects. This scene was all about "feeling good," something I have asked for on more than one occasion myself. And Halle does not disappoint.

No Way Out – The Limo Ride

This is the first of my two "strange" choices. I guess there is something about being seduced in the back of a stretch limousine by a high-ranking government military official in uniform. And if that guy happens to be a very young (and very hot) Kevin Costner, all the better. While I think the chemistry could have been better between Costner and Sean Young, I still like the scene.

To Die For – The Seduction Scene

Perhaps this is not as sexy as the others. Honestly, it’s not about the sex at all. It’s about manipulation, and seduction, and power. Nicole Kidman seduces several teenagers (in different ways) to get them to help kill her husband. In this scene, Kidman sexually seduces a young, high school student (played by a young Joaquin Phoenix). Kidman’s dancing, touching, expressions, and asking the girl to leave all add to the charm of this scene. I suppose somewhere deep down inside, I have a similar urge to seduce a young high school boy or girl. Why else would I like this scene, right? :)
