We published an article a few months back titled,
“To Pay or Not To Pay?” This time, Loren and I take the question
to a higher level. Our guest is Loren’s long-time friend, Vicky
Carole who manages and owns an escort service.
LOREN, why don’t you handle the introduction?
LOREN: “Let me welcome a high class professional in the adult
entertainment industry, Ms. Vicky Carole.”
VICKY: “I’m flattered to say the least, thank you.”
TANNER: Vicky, the three of us have known each other for quite
some time. Let’s put all that aside and get right to the point.
Does your escort service offer sex at a price?
VICKY: “Honestly – no. Sex is not part of the package.”
LOREN: “Our readers will find that hard to believe. I’m not
challenging you it’s just the way most people perceive an escort
service to be.”
TANNER: By that measure, all massage parlors, public and
private, would indicate the same thing.
VICKY: “As a general rule – you’re right. That’s how most people
think … it’s understandable. However, the majority of those
folks pointing the finger don’t know what they’re talking about.
Massage parlors are not part of my business so I can’t address
any comments from that arena.”
TANNER: We’re getting off the subject, let’s get back on track.
Okay, Vicky, I’m in town on business. I’m alone and I want a
female companion for dinner, drinks and dancing. If I suggest a
desire for more how do you handle it?
VICKY: “I set you up with a lady for the evening. If you and the
lady click, then consenting adult activity is up to you
and the lady.”
LOREN: “Is it always that way, I mean sex is usually factored
in, right?”
VICKY: “When a client sets up a date with one of my ladies he’ll
either, ask for her by name, request a specific type of female,
or let one of my associates suggest the right escort for the
evening. If a gentleman mentions sex he’s politely advised that
we do not offer such services.”
TANNER: Do you turn them away if they ask about sex?
VICKY: “We suggest they look elsewhere.”
LOREN: “What if the guy apologizes and still wants to set up an
escort?”
VICKY: “He’s red flagged. Then we book him with a girl
who’s been around the block a few times.”
LOREN: “In other words, the lady’s aware of a possible
encounter. Is she prepared for what could happen?”
VICKY: “Absolutely. All of our girls have permits to carry
pepper spray – and they’re trained in how to use it. We go by
the rule, no means no! If some jerk pushes the issue he
gets a face full.”
TANNER: Any nut case could book one of your women and have less
than a nice evening in mind. Your people never see the guy and
he may be using false ID with a stolen credit card. What
precautions are in place in that event?
VICKY: “My girls know where they’re supposed to be going on the
date. If the client suddenly changes plans after he picks up or
meets the escort she calls in at the first opportunity. Every
escort has a cell phone and we have a twenty-four-seven
hotline operating. A client books a date for dinner and
dancing at a specific hotel or club or the evening involves a
convention or event. All of which is known by the escort in
advance. Any sudden change in those plans requires an immediate
call-in.”
LOREN: “What then? I mean, the client has changed the program.
Does the escort go along – what can she do?”
VICKY: “The client is required to call the hotline number
right away and explain why the plans have changed. If he refuses
to do so, the date’s over and the escort requests immediate pick
up from wherever she is. We have cabs on alert that will respond
in a moments notice.”
TANNER: You seem to have all your bases covered and you appear
to be operating a stand up escort service. Nonetheless,
an unknown male can arrange an evening with one of your escorts
for the purpose of having sex. Although the escort has been
alerted to the possibility she may not click with the guy
if he turns out to be a jerk. What then?
VICKY: “By the time he invites her to his room the escort will
be well aware of her feelings and won’t go along. She has her
cell phone and the hotline. If her feeling is no,
it ends there.”
LOREN: “You haven’t mentioned the other security your girls
have. Our readers would love to hear it.”
VICKY: “We have specific pick up locations that each client has
to go along with. They’re all hotel lounges or cocktail bars
where the bartender or hostess knows our girls. The client must
be seen before the escort leaves with him. They’re well paid and
that’s why our fees are high.”
TANNER: With all due respect, your escort service does provide
women for sex, if the lady agrees; is that true?
VICKY: “What happens during the course of the evening is up to
the parties involved. If a consenting adult encounter takes
place and the gentleman elects to be generous, that’s they’re
business and none of mine.”
TANNER: Do you get a cut?
VICKY: “I won’t answer that.”
LOREN: “Brandon – you’re being rude!”
BRANDON: Just trying to put things in the right perspective.
Most men will wind up paying for sex one way or another. Those
gents who elect to use an escort service are prepared to pay and
they will do so willingly. The difference is: the latter know it
– the former are kidding themselves!
